Cairo 3A Refaat El Gamil & Co was established as a family business in Egypt to operate as an agricultural commodities trading business.

1995

Cairo 3A for Stevedoring was established to become the first private-sector stevedoring company. Cairo 3A for Stevedoring has grown to become as a leading company in freight, unloading and storage of agricultural commodities.

1997

Cairo 3A for Transportation was established and began with a transportation fleet comprised of 100 vehicles.

2008

The Group created Cairo 3A for Trading as a joint stock company, replacing the operations of Refaat El Gamil & Co, to act as Spark Commodities DMCC’s agent in Egypt.

2017

Acquisition of National Company for Maize Products (“NCMP”) through a mandatory tender offer, Egypt’s leading corn miller and sweeteners manufacturer Group purchased 80 new trucks.

2018

- 30% of group stocks sold to new investor resulted in USD70M capital increase.
- Merger of Cairo 3A for Transportation with CII.
- Establishing Cairo 3A for Poultry (Paid-In Capital EGP 690mn.
- Establishing Cairo 3A for Distribution.


2019

- Acquisition of Pyramid Poultry (“PPC”).
- Establishing Cairo 3A for Slaughter House Industries.

2020

- Acquisition of Egyptian Starch & Glucose Company (“ESGC”).
- Assets Acquisition of 3 Grand Parents farms.
- Asset Acquisition of wheat milling plant with capacity of 120K ton per year.
